Cute MP3 Cutter is a basic MP3 editor that has been designed to create ringtones from your favorite songs. Basically, the program allows you to cut out a segment of a song, add effects to it, and save it in MP3 format. It supports a number of audio formats, namely MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, and MIDI.
The program GUI consists of a single window that puts at your disposal all the options needed to edit a file. Once you open a song (or any audio file actually), you can start marking the segments you want to cut out either by inserting markers in the desired position, or defining the exact start and end times. After that, you can also add effects, for example, fade in and fade out, adjust the volume and the tempo, or activate the equalizer for more precise results. Before processing your file, you can use the preview option to see how the output file will be and make any corrections if necessary. Also, it is possible to set the file bitrate, and edit the MP3 tags.
The program is really intuitive and easy to handle, and you do not need any previous knowledge in audio editing to use it.
